October 11, 2017 – Wednesday — We’re so pleased to announce the launching of our newest feature, the JuanTax Standalone version. This was designed to enable users of entering and importing transactions, as well as their contacts, straight into JuanTax.
Introducing the Standalone Version
What makes JuanTax so special is that once it’s integrated with Xero accounting software, all transactions in your Xero account will be pushed directly into JuanTax, making it easier for you to generate and file taxes within seconds.
But, what if you are using other accounting software or only using spreadsheets?
Our answer is the JuanTax Standalone version, which would give users the option to manually enter and import CSV files of their transactions directly into JuanTax, separately for each report without the use of tax mapping.
Create and Import Your Transactions
For creating transactions, simply click on Create Transaction button and fill out the required fields. To import your transactions, click the Import Transaction button, then start importing your CSV file by following the steps in the setup wizard.
Set Up Your Own Contact List
This new standalone version now also allows you to devise your own list of contacts inside of JuanTax either through data entry or CSV file importing.
To create via data entry, you can start filling up your contact form by clicking the Create Contact button.
Start importing contacts by downloading a contact template file and enter data on the following fields such as:
- For Individual: FirstName, LastName, Address, City, Country, Postal, Area Code, Phone and TIN.
- For Non-Individual: OrganizationName, Address, City, Country, Postal, Area Code, Phone and TIN.
Save your file as a CSV (Comma Separated Value) spreadsheet then simply import it to the Import Contacts section in JuanTax.

Aside from the initial set of reports included in the Xero version, namely 2551M, 2550M, 1601E, 2550Q, 2307, 1604E, and 2306, we’ve added some reports for both Final Withholding and Income Tax Return in the Standalone version:
